IMPORTANT QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Where the name “asteria” does comes from?

It comes from Greek Mythology!  The name “Asteria” means “Star”.  This name was given to five famous women:

Asteria was the Titan goddess of oracles, prophetic dreams and astrology.  Asteria flung herself into the Aegean Sea in the form of a quail in order to escape the advances of Zeus. She became the island of the same name. Later, the island Asteria was identified with Delos, which was the only piece of earth to give refuge to the fugitive Leto when, pregnant with Zeus's children, she was pursued by vengeful Hera.

Also, there was Asteria, the Amazon.  The Amazons are a nation of all-female warriors in Classical and Greek mythology placed in a region of the modern territory of Ukraine. The Amazons have become associated with various historical peoples throughout the Roman Empire period. From then on their name has become a term for woman warriors in general.

Asteria of Alkyonides, flung herself into the sea along with her sisters and was transformed into a kingfisher.

Asteria or Astris was one of the Heliades, daughters of Helios. She married the river god Hydaspes (the modern Jhelum River) and became mother of Deriades, king in India.

And lastly, Asteria was one of the Danaids, daughters of Danaus who, with one exception, murdered their husbands on their weddings nights. She was, briefly, the bride of Chaetus (obviously…).

We chose Asteria for our company name to honor the first two women: the Titan Asteria, who gave refuge to another when desperately needed; and the Amazon Asteria, who was a warrior ready to fight for her rights.

Following in the footsteps of these two great leaders, Club Asteria stands for helping and empowering its Members!

What is an expatriate?

In its broadest sense, an expatriate is any person living in a different country from where he or she is a citizen. In common usage, the term is often used in the context of professionals sent abroad by their companies, as opposed to locally hired staff (who can also be foreigners). The differentiation found in common usage usually comes down to socio-economic factors, so skilled professionals working in another country are described as expatriates, whereas a manual labourer who has moved to another country to earn more money might be labeled an 'immigrant'. There is no set definition and usage does vary depending on context and individual preferences and prejudices.

Can I use my cash balance to pay for my monthly membership, provided it is up to my level of monthly subcription fee

Yes you can use your cash balance, but right now it is not automated, but with the new system it will be.  Hopefully this will be available in the next two months.

My monthly subscription was due since yesterday but I noticed that it has not been pulled from my alertpay account
.

If you had correctly set up your subscription with Alertpay then it should automatically make the payment.  Check carefully.  If it has not then you will need to send in funds manually. We have no control over your Alertpay account.

I am a new member of this program. I would like my wife to join this wonderful program. Can I be her referral? I just want to know before going ahead?

Yes you can. Each person who joins just needs their own photo ID

Can I use a blog to further promote Club-Asteria?

Yes you can use blogs. If you want help with a flyer, then do your best to write one up and send us the working and we will make any changes that we think are good.

Please, could the official I.D be different from normal picture?

You can use any Photo Id and it does not have to match another picture of yourself. Commissions are paid on Thursdays.

As a non-citizen of USA and Canada, do I need to also fill the Compliance form?

No, do not use the compliance form, just go to “Edit Profile” section.

How can I know the Asterio rewards for each program that I might want to join?

We are upgrading that section over the next 30 days.  A new team of programmers is redesigning the site and it will be much easier to understand.  Right now the reward for programs has been set low due to members just pretending to sign up.  So we have to find a different solution for this.

Secondly, am I going to pay for all the cost involved or associated with each programs or my membership have taken care of that?

Being a member in these other programs is your option and you will need to pay for each one separately, but you do receive Commission in our weekly commission run for the income we receive from these programs.

I would like to upgrade my membership to ND1, please where can I do that in my back-office?

All you need to do it purchase 1000 Asterios or more and we will make your status as a Network director and pay you accordingly.  If you use the Purchase Asterios Link you will automatically be rewarded with the Asterios and then we will add your matching bonus if you purchase it within the first 14 days of joining as an upgraded member.

Is it possible for a new member to upgrade from Free member to GOLD member by using his or her credit/debit card?

We have disabled this option. You can use your credit card through your alertpay, paypal or cashx by registering your credit card with them and then use it to upgrade your membership.
